Para-delusional
Today’s online social content is so related to how people ‘’live their lives’’ that it’s becoming confusing. We are constantly encouraged to watch the life of influencers with snapshots of their daily activities. It gives the false impression that some are always on holiday, always doing incredible stuffs, always working non-stop or always being on top of their game at any given time. But the truth is that, all of that is not a depiction of the reality and must not be considered as an example to follow nor a representation of a life to take inspiration from. This is pure entertainment, nothing else. This is the entertainment of our century and it’s here to last as long as people are craving for it and as more and more influencers are making a living out of it. In the meantime, be mindful. It’s very easy to get caught up in this parallel world where you think what is shown to you is what real life should look like 100% of the time.
